Man shot by wife after he filled her donuts with mayonnaise for April Fools
Clayton Peterson, a Texas man was shot by his wife Christa Gibney after he filled her donuts with mayonnaise as an April Fools prank. Today, at about noon, Peterson called 911 after being shot in a leg by his own wife. An ambulance and the police came to the scene. They took Peterson to the hospital and arrested Gibney.
“I warned him several times not to do it. I threatened to kill him if he did, but he didn’t care” said Gibney to our reporter Gary Cockburn. She said he should be glad she didn’t “shoot him in the chest”.
She is now being charged with aggravated assault, and may face up to 1 year in jail.
I was trying to explain her it was just a prank. “It’s a prank bro!” I said, several times. But she was so mad she lost control.

Peterson will be able to recover, but he may not be able to run again.
On the other hand, Gibney says she regrets nothing and that she will “eat mayo-free donuts in prison”.
