Florida Man Arrested For Marking Roads With Paint To Promote Adidas
Florida, United States.— A 29-year old man was arrested yesterday by the Orlando Police Department after he tried to advertise his favorite brand by marking the roads with yellow paint. Juan Alcachofas spent around 100 dollars in paint and covered about 2 kilometers (about 1.24 miles) before he was stopped by the police and arrested.
He claimed that he was paid by Adidas, but Adidas denied such claims.
“I didn’t think it was illegal. I thought it would be fun, because Adidas was supporting me, and I was supporting them. I love their shoes and clothing.”, the man stated.
He can face up to 1 year in jail and a 100,000 dollar fine for causing damages to a public road.
“I want Adidas to get me a lawyer. They can’t just get away with this”, the man said very angry. He said that “at least I wanna have an Adidas T- shirt while I’m in jail”.
Many Adidas fans are supporting this man, and they think Adidas should get him a lawyer.
