Jamaica Becomes The First Country To Make K-Pop Illegal
After several months of discussion, the Jamaican government, headed by its Prime Minister Andrew Holness, has finally decided to ban k-pop from the Caribbean nation. This decision was taken due to the popularity that k-pop is getting recently. “People are becoming fans of this kind of ‘music’. We all know how annoying k-pop fans can be, so it’s better to be safe than sorry”, said a government spokesperson.“More and more teenage girls started following k-pop bands in Jamaica. They’re obsessed with them and they’re not doing homework, working or doing anything else.”, said the prime minister. He kept going: “Our boys are following k-pop too, and they’re turning gay. This needs to be stopped at all costs”, he concluded. The prime minister said that they don’t even understand the language. So why bothering listening to that?
